OUR MISSION:
CONNECTING OUR COMMUNITY
We bring people together from Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma District’s 2SLGBTQIA+ population and allies to celebrate and to take action when necessary. We nurture relationships not only within the Queer community, but also with all levels of government, community agencies, major employers, educational institutions, and Pride organizations across the province in order to build webs of safety.

Sault Pride envisions Sault Ste Marie as a vibrantly diverse, empowering, and welcoming city which is both a home and a destination for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions

PRIDEFEST
Every July, Sault Pride works with many valued community partners to mount a weeklong festival for the Rainbow community to come together, celebrate how far we’ve come, and talk about the steps we still need to take to ensure full equality and safety. We are forever grateful to our beautiful hometown for its support!
